Hawkers aims to help stall owners manage menus and orders with a simple web POS, with room for payments and customer ordering flows.
What it’s trying to achieve
- Make it easy for hawkers to run a lightweight POS from a phone/tablet (menus + order queue first).
- Keep onboarding simple (fast setup, minimal training, works on low-end devices).
- Leave room for payments and customer ordering once the core operational loop is solid.
Current status
- WIP: deployed early with shared UI chrome, platform auth/session plumbing, and basic scaffolding.
What’s next
- Expand into real menu + ordering workflows.
- Tighten the migration path to shared backend routes where it reduces complexity.
